The Lord's Church was started to fulfill the need of a few people to hear the Word of God and to worship Him in a Bible based setting.
The Lord's Church was founded by a few families who felt we needed to be more inspired by our worship services. At first we gathered in kitchens and living rooms to sing songs of praise and share scriptures. We didn't want to miss a single worship service until we until we found a church home. But after a short time, we discovered we could just form our own church. We had all we needed including bible study teachers, and someone who could act as a pastor and lead service.
We just couldn't stop worshiping. It was certainly a divine intervention that led us to gather in each others homes and the Lord has graced us each and every meeting.
The members of the Lord's Church believe that the Bible is the unerring Word of God. We believe that we need to Glorify God by ministering to the community and offering Bible study of the whole Bible in order to live a Bible based life.
We follow the Lord's command to love our beighbors and have included missions to local charities to aid our community. Youth group events and meals for the needy are just an example of our focus.
We are pleased to have found each other where we can lift our Lord up as His Holy Spirit guides us in our ministry.
